Here are some images from our numerous program activities
For 2011, the orientation activity for first year students was three nights/four days in Turtle River Park travelling in 22 and 26 foot canoes. The destination was the White Otter Castle. It was a great trip but much too hot (30°C) with no wind at all.

Once again, Canoe Canada was our outfitter for a return journey to the White Otter Castle. We base camped at the north end of Big Island and paddled empty to the castle the next morning.
It was a great trip with a wide range of weather. The students, mostly unknown to each other prior to the trip surely learned about their classmates on this trip! All those who took part in the trip should be very proud of their accomplishment.
FA001 is flight attendant training and is one of the optional certifications for Industry Certifications.
Rod was on a canoe trip in Northern Saskatchewan, a bi-annual event. Most of the route was on or close to the Churchill River. CRCA (Canadian Recreational Canoeing Association) Instructor Certification took place and we also spent time training in a rapid called "Surf City". It was very exciting.
Surf City
To surf in a rapid, the canoe is pointed upstream and if situated correctly, you don't have to paddle, you only need to steer.

Our students took part in a tour at the WestJet facility at the Thunder Bay Airport. A Boeing 737 was on the tarmac.
